Vertex is developing an EV battery warranty proposition to complement its work on battery evidence and customer confidence.

Keep testing and warranty promises clear
A battery health assessment provides evidence within the scope of that test. A warranty is a separate product with its own eligibility and terms. Taking a Voltest test does not itself provide warranty cover.
The warranty is not yet available to purchase. We will publish the confirmed product information before accepting applications.

Does a battery health report replace the manufacturer warranty?
No. It provides information about the battery within the test scope. Manufacturer warranty eligibility and claims remain subject to the manufacturer’s terms.
Can we charge for the battery health check?
You can offer it as a defined, separately priced service. Set a price that reflects your process, reporting and costs, and agree the service with the customer before testing.
What if my vehicle is not listed?
Ask Vertex to check the exact make, model, year and battery variant. Do not assume compatibility with a related model.
Where can a customer arrange a test?
